Cathie begins presenting pledge programming for PBS, WNET, NY.

Christmas with Makem
Tommy Makem invites Cathie to sing on his PSB special, A Christmas Tradition with Tommy Makem. Cathie credits Tommy with giving her “the break” that launched her solo career.

Cathie leaves Cherish the Ladies, but has many times since been a guest on tour.
